SPANISH LANGUAGE HOMESTAY PROGRAM IN SEGOVIA, SPAIN

OPTION FOR STUDENTS DURING SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Four weeks in the summer, and one week at any other time in the school year.
Full room and board with a local family.
Three hours of Spanish class every morning in our academy.
Extracurricular activities: tennis, football, kayaking, hiiking, swimming, horse-back riding, golf, etc...
Excursions to Madrid, El Escorial, and other beautiful and interesting locations in Segovia Province.

Our aim is to create a Spanish Language immersion program in which students feel safe and at home in Spain while also having the opportunity to converse in Spanish, and to work towards fluency and correct pronunciation. In order to achieve this, we follow teaching methods that recognize the need for oral communication in class using real-life situations that the students may then apply to the rest of their experience while living in Spain.

All of our teachers are highly qualified Spaniard people with experience in language teaching. All students are placed in an appropriate group for their level of Spanish, with a maximum of 12 students in each group. Classes take place from 10:00am to 1:15pm. In the afternoon, they have the option participating in a large variety of activities, as previously listed.

Upon completion of the program, students will receive an official diploma stating their level of proficiency from Centro Inglés y Francés.

Centro Inglés y Francés has been running language courses since 1989.

All of our families are carefully chosen for this program so that each student feels at home. The families are also obliged to speak in Spanish with the student.

OPTION FOR FAMILIES OR INDIVIDUALS

One week program.
Full room and board in a centrally-located hotel.
Four hours of Spanish class daily at our academy.
Four hours of a variety of activities in the afternoon with a native language teacher.
Extracurricular activities: tennis, football, kayaking, hiiking, swimming, horse-back riding, golf, etc...
All of our teachers are experienced, licensed native speakers.

HOLIDAYS IN ENGLISH OR FRENCH

Weekly programs.
Full room and board in a centrally-located hotel.
Four hours of English or French instruction at our academy with a native speaking teacher.
The main objective of this program is complete immersion in order to improve one’s English or French with a native speaking teacher. It includes four hours of class every day, and four hours of afternoon activities, also with a native speaking teacher.

DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR AS WELL AS THE SUMMER

Courses for adults and children over three years of age.
One to one classes.
Group classes, with a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 10 .
We prepare our students for all official exams offered in both English and French:

Trinity, Cambridge, E.O.I., TOEFL, DELF, DALF.

We also offer all types of translation. For example:

Memoirs, publicity, WEB pages, restaurant menus.

Upon request, we can arrange bussiness courses.
